Finding and choosing a care home can be a long and difficult process. TimeFinders offers a specialized Care Home Search to help and support you through this and remove the stress and worry.
We will chat with you or your loved one about your hopes and feelings, find out exactly what you want and need and, with this information, create a list of possible care homes which best fit your criteria. We will contact each home on your behalf, obtain their latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) Report and, if we feel it necessary, ask one of our Consultants to make a site visit. We will then produce our final report for you to consider and, if you wish, share with family, friends or professional advisers. If it would be helpful, we would be happy to accompany you as you visit any or all of the homes and see them for yourself.
It is always best when a move into a care home is planned in advance but sometimes it needs to happen urgently as a result of an accident or sudden onset of ill-health. If you are ageing alone and are unwell or frail, researching and visiting all the different care environments on your own to see which one suits you best can be extremely hard. Even if you have family or friends supporting you, amid the upset and stress of such events it is sometimes difficult for them to cope with all the practicalities at the same time as providing the love and support you need.
